“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.”

– Henry Ford

At TriCircle, we believe that no one should have to walk the road of recovery or grief alone. That belief is at the heart of our newest chapter, and I am thrilled to share it with you.

Over the past months, we have been working diligently to bring the Recovery & Bereavement Community Hub to life here in Wallingford with the continued support of Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and additional funds from the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant.Together, we are creating a welcoming space where individuals and families affected by addiction, and the mental health challenges that so often accompany it, can find connection, understanding, and support.

Addiction touches nearly every family in our community. Behind every statistic is a person who is loved, and a family that is hurting, hoping, or healing. Some are in early recovery. Some are grieving a loss that words cannot fully hold. All of them deserve a place to belong. The Hub is that place: a home for recovery and remembrance, and a reminder that healing happens in community.

I am also honored to invite you to join us for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the Recovery & Bereavement Community Hub, to be held in early October, with the exact date to be announced soon on our social media. We are proud to celebrate alongside the Midstate Chamber of Commerce and the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, whose support shows how much our local business community cares about the well-being of our neighbors.

Please come. Bring a friend, a coworker, a family member. Whether you are in recovery, have lost someone you love, work in the field, or simply want to stand with your community, your presence matters. It tells someone who is struggling that they are seen, and that they are not alone.

Our tagline says it best: Together WE are Stronger! Lasting solutions to addiction and mental health challenges will not come from any one organization or agency. They will come from all of us, working together, with compassion and commitment for the long haul.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I hope to see you at the ribbon cutting.

Together WE are Stronger!

Gratefully,

Ana M. Gopoian
